The most exciting new thrill rides coming in 2021

2020 was a tough year for the tourism industry, especially where visitor attractions were concerned. The world of travel and tourism came to a screeching halt during the pandemic, but that hasn’t stopped construction of a huge variety of exciting rides and attractions coming to theme parks across the world.

The team at Blooloop have compiled a list of the 20 most exciting new attractions arriving in 2021, and it’s certainly worth having a read.

Some of the highlights include;

Monster: Grona Lund, Sweden

Monster, the exciting (and complex) Inverted coaster will finally open in 2021.

To help save space in the very full park, Monster’s station will be underground loading station. It will also have a unique set of thick central supports to support the layout, instead of a more traditional support system. The coaster will hit speeds near 56 mph and run through three inversions along a modest 2,296 track run, whilst coming extremely close to the other attractions.

Jurassic World Velocicoaster: Islands of Adventure, USA

This thrilling new coaster features a 155-foot tall top hat element, themed trains that will be launched at speeds up to 70mph, TWICE! This amazing roller coaster will feature amazing theming alongside blazing thrills, and we can’t wait to see it in action!

Iron Gwazi: Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, USA

Iron Gwazi: Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, USA

Gwazi first opened back in 1999 as a racing wooden coaster creation from Great Coasters International. It ran for 16 years before Busch Gardens decided to retire the coaster for good in 2015.

Over the years, an idea began to brew and gain momentum to save the former Gwazi wooden coaster and have Rocky Mountain Construction come in and transform and redesign the old coaster into a new custom Hybrid coaster creation. The anticipation for this new ride is huge, and judging by the video above, it looks like a wild ride!
