Saturn Imagineering offered a turn-key solution to the redevelopment of a former mine museum located high up in the Cambrian Mountains of Mid Wales. The project involved the creation of an 2 actor led underground shows, a variety of surface attractions and operational consultancy.

The works involved the creation of an actor led underground scare attraction based around local welsh myths and legends called “The Black Chasm;” an above ground fantasy realm known as Woo Hoo Wood complete with children’s characters; a reworked interpretation for the Miners Trail and complete refurbishment of the café and shop. 

Works included: concept attraction design (Black Chasm); illustration and detailing; story telling and script writing; 3D Model and CAD simulation; detailed thematic design; set lighting and show design; audio visual installation & construction of all theming, sets and props.

In addition, Saturn Imagineering developed the attraction branding and leaflet design; marketing and web site; and operational set up for the relaunch including staff recruitment and actor training.
